With the fundamental belief that every student can learn, the primary purpose of Garnett Unified School District No. 365 is to
provide each student the learning opportunity for him/her to establish a foundation for success, both now and in the future.
Starting today, any student, teacher, or school staff member can become part of the movement to upgrade Kansas schools to high-speed Internet.
2. Select your school
3. Test your classroom Internet in under a minute
By collecting 10-20 SpeedTests at every one of Kansas’s 1,400+ schools, we can draw a picture of in-class Internet access that will help make the case for bigger and better Internet connections for schools across the state. We’ll use this data to improve school networks, get ready for online assessment, and ensure our teachers and students are free to use the best online tools right in their classroom.
But in order to provide schools with actionable data, we need your help collecting 10-20 SpeedTests from your schools at different times of day. Please remember to go back often and take tests at different times of day. SchoolSpeedTest data will help find network bottlenecks, support network planning, demonstrate the need for increased connectivity/hardware funding, and support your district readiness for digital learning and new assessment requirements.
