Don Blome- Superintendent

Welcome from the Superintendent

Welcome to the Unified School District No. 365 school website.  Our school district is located in Anderson County, Kansas about 50 minutes southwest of Kansas City on Highway 169.  The district covers 430 square miles including communities of Westphalia, Greeley, Mont Ida, Harris, Bush City, Welda, and Garnett.  Schools are located in Westphalia (Elementary K-8), Greeley (PreK – 6), Garnett (Elementary PreK-6), and Anderson County Junior Senior High School (Secondary 7-12).  The primary purpose of Unified School District No. 365 is to provide each student the learning opportunity for him/her to establish a foundation for success, both now and in the future.

Unified School District No. 365 offers students many opportunities during their school career including music, sports, theatre, leadership opportunities (FFA, FCCLA, FBLA, Kays, Student Council, National Honor Society, etc.) as well as other extracurricular school activities.  Anderson County Junior Senior High School is classified as a 3A school according to the high school activities association.

Furthermore, our school district provides students with opportunities in technical/career education through partnerships with area post-secondary institutions including:  Automotive, HVAC (Heating & Air Conditioning), Welding, Nursing, and Culinary Arts.  These programs have been very popular with students from our school district as well as those from surrounding school districts.

If interested in visiting our schools, please contact one of our schools or the school district office at 785-448-6155.
