Snowman January & February 2010

Brrrrr!  The second semester is starting out with lots of snow, wind and cold temperatures.  Be sure to send your children to school dressed warmly- preferably in layers.  A t-shirt with a sweater, hoodie or cardigan over it will keep them warm in the classroom and yet allow them to shed the long sleeves when they are sweaty from phy.ed. or recess.  A winter coat, hat and gloves are a necessity this time of year as well!

Jan. 12th  Greeley Pride Assembly @ 2:30pm.  Academic awards and perfect attendance awards will be announced and grade cards will be sent home with the students.  The third/fourth grade will have a program. Parents, friends and relatives are welcome.

Jan. 15th  The Anderson Co. Health Dept. will be at our building to give the 2nd dose of H1N1 vaccine to children 9 years old and younger if the child has already received the first dose.  This only applies to the 9 yrs & under age group.  If your child is 10 yrs & older and still needs the H1N1 vaccine, they can receive it that day, given they have a signed consent form on file in the school office.
