3RD QUARTER REPORT CARDS
The 3rd quarter ends on March 11. Report cards will go home in March 29 parent packets. Feel free to contact your child's teacher if you have questions.
IPC KINDERGARTEN ROUNDUP
Spread the word to friends with children who will be 5 on or before August 31 that IPC is rounding up kindergartners for the 2010-11 school year. IPC will hold kindergarten screenings on Thursday, March 25, from 12:30-7:00 p.m. in the multi-purpose room. Call Mrs. Suderman at 448-5434 if you have questions or to set up a screening appointment. Allow 45-60 minutes for completing forms and screening activities.
Kansas School entrance requirements:
•Certified State Birth Certificate
•Immunization Record
•Physical assessments (since Sept. 2009)
(These requirements do not need to be turned in at this time.)
No school for Kindergarten students on March 25. Grade 1 students will have school.
CARNIVAL NEWS/UPDATES

TIME CHANGE
Remember daylight savings time begins next weekend. Set clocks ahead one hour on Saturday night, March 13. We hope spring weather will arrive with the time change.
COWPOKE ROUNDUP
Mrs. Kubacka is busy preparing IPC students for our annual music program. This year’s entertaining show will take place on Tuesday, March 9, at 7:00 p.m. in the Anderson County Junior Senior High School Auditorium. Students are invited to dress in their blue jeans/western attire for this fun hoe down. IPC cowgirls and cowboys should arrive at 6:45 p.m. and look for their teacher by the stage. Make plans to load up the wagon with family and friends and join us March 9.
SPRING BREAK MARCH 12-21
IPC (and USD #365) students will be out of school from March 12-21 for spring break. Students will be dismissed at regular time on Thursday, March 11. No school Friday, March 12. Classes will resume on Monday, March 22
WELCOME BACK
Following the birth of son, Landry Hedrick, IPC welcomes Mrs. Hedrick back. We are glad she got to spend a few weeks at home with Landry but we are glad she is back at IPC on a regular basis.

HEALTH HEADLINES
IPC students are currently being screened for vision by Mrs. Peine, our school nurse. The screening process takes several weeks to complete. Parents will be contacted regarding any potential problems.
GEC/IPC PTO CARNIVAL
The carnival is nearly here. The Carnival is held at ACJSHS on March 5 from 6-9. It is a fun event for the whole family. Thanks to all of our volunteers. The carnival would not be possible without everyone working together.
•Be sure to turn in boxtops for free carnival tickets (1 free ticket for every 5 boxtops up to 10 free tickets or 50 boxtops).
•All raffle tickets and money collected needs to be turned in by Thursday afternoon, March 4. Top sellers will earn prizes. All students selling 100 or more raffle tickets will earn a party. Results will be listed in next month’s newsletter.
