Mrs. Krista Hedrick, her husband, Aaron, and son, Ty, proudly welcomed baby Landry Lee Hedrick to their family on Monday, January 25. Landry weighed 7# 12 oz. and was 19 1/2 inches long. Everyone is healthy and doing well. We miss having Mrs. Hedrick at school but she will be checking in on a regular basis. Feel free to contact Mrs. Suderman in the IPC office or Mrs. Alford at GEC if you have questions and/or concerns in the next few weeks.

GEC/IPC PTO NEWS
Carnival Update -- The PTO Carnival is set for Friday, March 5, from 6:00-9:00 p.m. This is great family entertainment as well as a big fundraiser for our schools (About $10,000 was collected last year--WOW). The PTO would love your help --a little or a lot! Return the carnival form, or contact Dawn Weirich, carnival coordinator (204-0605) if you haven’t already done so or you may contact the IPC school office if you are interested in helping.
IPC Carnival Worknight
In preparation for our carnival on March 5, IPC will hold a worknight for parent volunteers on Thursday, February 25. at 6:00. Worknight usually consists of final organization of raffle prizes, counting out ticket packets, making signs, etc.
Carnival Raffle
A big part of the carnival is the fabulous, big raffle of donated prizes. Raffle tickets will be available at parent teacher conferences. Prizes are awarded to top sellers but students are under no obligation to sell tickets.
Boxtops for Education Collection
IPC is collecting boxtops for education. Students will be able to earn free carnival tickets for these boxtops (10 boxtops = 1 ticket with a limit of 5 earned tickets). The tickets earned may be used at the carnival booths.
Book Distribution
IPC students will able to choose a book of their choice from the PTO book distribution on Friday, February 19. Take a few minutes to read your child’s book together. Thanks to the parents who provide refreshments.
Thanks to PTO for providing so many educational extras for our students.
