Two to State

The Anderson County Bulldogs competed in the 4A Regional Wrestling Tournament in Chanute over the weekend. Joseph Wittman 160 and Max Hopkins 171 qualified for the state tournament in Salina by placing 3rd.
Five additional wrestlers falling one match short of qualifying for the trip were Caleb Skinner 125, Colby Brownrigg 130, Zach DuPont 140, Richard Vandenberg 189 and Marcus Ferguson 285.
The entire team wrestled very hard and lost some very close matches. I was very pleased with the performances.
