Spring Is Finally Here!
May is just around the corner, which means the school year is almost here. The children have Spring Fever (and so do the adults)!
Reading, Math, and Science State Assessments are over, and GEC students did well. It takes a lot of hard work to achieve these scores, and I am very proud of our students and staff.
The nice weather, the longer hours of daylight, and the last month of school, together, usually make it difficult to concentrate on schoolwork and stay focused on assignments. Please encourage your children to continue working hard and do their best. As Play Day nears, we have reminded the students that all assignments must completed in order to attend. We appreciate your help keeping them on track.

April 26 - PTO @ 7:00pm/GEC Library
May 3 - 4th & 5th grade Vocal Concert @ 7:00pm/ACJSHS
17 - 5th grade Vocal Concert & 5th - 8th grade Band Concert

19 - Play Day
21 - Last Day of School - Assembly @ 8:30am/gym
- Students and Teachers dismiss at 1:00pm.
