BULLDOG PRIDE is alive and well at Anderson County Jr/Sr High School. Walk our hallways, tour the web site, visit with our outstanding staff members, or attend a ball game to quickly find out that something special is happening at ACJSHS.
BULLDOG PRIDE is also evident in our activity programs that feature success in athletics, music, drama, debate, forensics, Scholars Bowl, art, student council, journalism, National Honor Society, and a wide variety of clubs. Every student is highly encouraged to get involved in at least one of our activity programs.
We believe that participation in high school activities is a worthwhile experience, which all students should have the opportunity to pursue. We believe that participation can teach our students life long values like discipline, leadership, comradery, respect, sportsmanship, citizenship, dedication, team work, being goal oriented and the value of hard work. Students who participate in activity programs tend to have higher grade point averages, better attendance records, lower dropout rates and fewer discipline problems than the general population. Get involved!
Go BULLDOGS!
