Unified School District No 365

Garnett * Greeley * Mont Ida * Westphalia

With the fundamental belief that every student can learn, the primary purpose of Garnett Unified School District No 365 is to provide each student the learning opportunity for him/her to establish a foundation for success, both now and in the future

Core Beliefs USD 365

1.     All students will read at or above grade level.

2.    Success in reading for all students in all grades must begin with effective teaching in grades K-3.

3.    The community's involvement is essential in setting learning standards and goals for each school and the district.

4.    High achievement for all students results from addressing the learning needs of each student.

5.  Everyoone in the community has a vital role in creating quality schools.

6.    All students must be prepared for life-long learning.

7.    The commitment, trust and support of the community are needed in developing long-range plans that provide safe, functional and affordable schools.

 

DISTRICT GOALS

 

*USD 365 WILL ENSURE THAT EVERY CHILD READS AT GRADE LEVEL OR ABOVE.

 

*USD 365 WILL CREATE A SAFE AND SECURE ENVIRONMENT FOR LEARNING FOR STAFF AND STUDENTS THROUGH LONG-RANGE FACILITIES PLANNING.

 

*USD 365 WILL ADDRESS AND FACILITATE INDIVIDUAL LEARNING NEEDS OF STUDENTS.

 

*USD 365 WILL PROMOTE COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT IN THE DISTRICT'S PROCESS OF SETTING THE STANDARDS AND GOALS FOR THEIR SCHOOL.

 

*PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITITES FOR STUDENTS TO DEVELOP CAREER AND CITIZENSHIP ACCOUNTABILITY.
