A Message of Appreciation to Our Maintenance and Custodial Staff
As we prepare to welcome students and staff back for another exciting school year, I want to take a moment to extend our deepest appreciation to the dedicated members of our maintenance and custodial teams. Their hard work, attention to detail, and pride in our facilities have once again made an incredible impact across our district.
Throughout the summer, these teams have been hard at work not only completing the essential deep cleaning of all our buildings but also making significant improvements that will directly benefit our students and staff.
Completed projects this summer include:
- Refinishing all gym floors district-wide
- Completing LED lighting upgrades at Greeley and Westphalia
- Landscaping and new mulch installation at Garnett Elementary
- Renovating our science classrooms
- Improving and upgrading our weight room
- Interior painting projects at Anderson County and Westphalia
- Smoothing and improving the parking lot at Greeley
- New mulch installation at Greeley
- Replacement of a roll-up door in the Anderson County Cafeteria
These improvements are more than just cosmetic – they help create a safe, welcoming, and functional environment where students can learn and thrive.
Looking ahead, the team is already preparing for additional projects, including:
- Finishing the LED gym lighting upgrades at Garnett Elementary
- Kitchen updates and improvements at Greeley
- Enhancing the Anderson County courtyard for student and staff use
None of this would be possible without the commitment, skill, and pride our maintenance and custodial staff bring to their work every day. Their behind-the-scenes efforts are vital to the success of our schools, and we are truly grateful.
Please join me in thanking these outstanding individuals for all they do to keep our district running smoothly and looking great.
With appreciation,
Dr. Ryan Most
